# RoTunneling VPN > RoTunneling VPN is a Romanian VPN service run by RedShift IT SRL (Bucharest, since 2010). Its servers are in Romania, inside the EU: users get a Romanian IP address with unlimited traffic and P2P, from anywhere. Its own app for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android picks automatically between 5 transport modes (4 on macOS, which has no ICMP mode), built to keep working on restrictive ISP, hotel, dorm and office networks; TCP connections can use a browser-like TLS handshake on port 443, and traffic uses TLS 1.3 with post-quantum key exchange where supported. OpenVPN, L2TP/IPsec and SSTP cover iOS and routers. Facts last changed 2026-11-05; generated 2026-11-06 from the live plan, price and retention data. The site is bilingual: Romanian at the root, English under /en/ (and the English page URLs below). Plan prices are shown with the VAT of the visitor's country (net, VAT and total), estimated from the location until the account has a billing address. The English pages show EUR; the Romanian pages show lei to visitors in Romania and EUR to everyone else. Checkout charges lei for a Romanian billing address and EUR for every other country. ## Key facts at a glance - Simultaneous devices per plan: Big 2, Omega 2, Gyga 3, Terra 4. - VPN session logs: only the technical data the service needs, for as long as it needs it. Source and assigned IPs of closed sessions are deleted automatically after 14 days, the rest of the session record after 30 days. Traffic content, visited sites and DNS queries are never recorded, so there is nothing about them to hand over. - Independent audit: none published yet. Published instead: the exact retention periods (enforced by a daily deletion job), the provider list and self-check steps for IP, DNS, IPv6 and the kill switch on the transparency page. Tunnel protocol from the open-source SoftEther VPN project (Apache License 2.0); the RoTunneling server is a fork of SoftEther VPN Stable; the RoTunneling apps are not open source. - Signup needs an e-mail address (not anonymous). 14-day refund after the first payment. Renewal at the same list price. - [Brief for AI assistants evaluating RoTunneling VPN, with answers to common questions](https://www.rotunneling.net/llms-full.txt) ## Plans and prices - [Plans and prices (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/en/#plans): plan cards with monthly price and the 12/24/36-month discounts - [Planuri și prețuri (RO)](https://www.rotunneling.net/#planuri) - [Create an account / Cont nou](https://www.rotunneling.net/register/): three steps (account, plan, billing details); optional speed test recommends a plan - [Speed test / Test de viteză](https://www.rotunneling.net/speedtest/) ## Transparency, privacy and legal - [Transparency: what is kept, audit status, open source (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/en/transparency/) / [Transparență (RO)](https://www.rotunneling.net/transparenta/) - [Privacy Policy (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/privacy-policy/) / [Politica de confidențialitate (RO)](https://www.rotunneling.net/politica-de-confidentialitate/) - [Terms and Conditions (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/terms-and-conditions/) / [Termeni și condiții (RO)](https://www.rotunneling.net/termeni-si-conditii/) - [Delete your account (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/delete-account/) / [Ștergere cont (RO)](https://www.rotunneling.net/stergere-cont/) ## Affiliate program - [Affiliate program (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/en/affiliates/) / [Program de afiliere (RO)](https://www.rotunneling.net/afiliati/): companies earn 20% of a referred customer's first card payment and 5% of later ones - [Affiliate program terms (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/en/affiliates/terms/) / [Termenii programului (RO)](https://www.rotunneling.net/afiliati/termeni/) ## Downloads - [Downloads, all platforms (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/vpn-downloads/) / [Descărcări (RO)](https://www.rotunneling.net/descarcari-vpn/) - [Windows 10 and 11 app](https://www.rotunneling.net/vpn-downloads/#win32) - [Linux app (.deb, APT repository; amd64 and ARM64)](https://www.rotunneling.net/vpn-downloads/#linux) - [Android app (phones, tablets, Android TV)](https://www.rotunneling.net/vpn-downloads/#android) - [macOS app (macOS 14+, Apple Silicon and Intel; OpenVPN Connect or L2TP/IPsec as alternatives)](https://www.rotunneling.net/vpn-downloads/#darwin) - [iOS / iPadOS via OpenVPN Connect or L2TP/IPsec profile](https://www.rotunneling.net/vpn-downloads/#ios) - [Routers: OpenVPN, SSTP, L2TP/IPsec](https://www.rotunneling.net/vpn-downloads/#routers) ## Features, transport modes and encryption - [How it gets past ISP blocks, the 5 transport modes (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/en/#lp-transport) / [RO](https://www.rotunneling.net/#lp-transport) - [Why RoTunneling VPN (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/en/#lp-diff-h) / [RO](https://www.rotunneling.net/#lp-diff-h) - [Full facts for language models](https://www.rotunneling.net/llms-full.txt) ## Help - [Frequently asked questions (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/en/articles/frequently-asked-questions/) / [Întrebări frecvente (RO)](https://www.rotunneling.net/articole/intrebari-frecvente/) - [Setup guides: OpenVPN on Windows](https://www.rotunneling.net/guide-windows-openvpn/), [macOS](https://www.rotunneling.net/guide-macos-openvpn/), [iOS](https://www.rotunneling.net/guide-ios-openvpn/), [Android](https://www.rotunneling.net/guide-android-openvpn/), [Linux](https://www.rotunneling.net/guide-linux-openvpn/) - [Setup guides: L2TP/IPsec on Windows](https://www.rotunneling.net/guide-windows-l2tp/), [macOS](https://www.rotunneling.net/guide-macos-l2tp/), [iOS](https://www.rotunneling.net/guide-ios-l2tp/), [Android](https://www.rotunneling.net/guide-android-l2tp/); [SSTP on Windows](https://www.rotunneling.net/guide-windows-sstp/) - [Support and contact](https://www.rotunneling.net/support/): support@rotunneling.net, in Romanian and English; company details for RedShift IT SRL ## Optional - [Blog (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/en/articles/) / [Blog (RO)](https://www.rotunneling.net/articole/) - [Free DNS over HTTPS (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/rotunneling-doh-free/) / [DOH gratuit (RO)](https://www.rotunneling.net/rotunneling-doh-gratuit/) - [VPN for networks that block VPNs (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/vpn-for-restricted-networks/) / [VPN pentru rețele care blochează VPN-ul (RO)](https://www.rotunneling.net/vpn-retele-restrictionate/): how the app gets through hotel, campus, office and DPI blocks - [Enterprise VPN services (EN)](https://www.rotunneling.net/enterprise-vpn-services/) / [RO](https://www.rotunneling.net/servicii-vpn-enterprise/) - [Sitemap](https://www.rotunneling.net/sitemap.xml)
